Abercorn International School offers financial aid to enroll academically competitive students who could not otherwise afford to attend and to increase the socio-economic diversity of its student body. In the administration of its financial aid program, Abercorn admits students without regard to race, religion, national origin, gender, or sexual orientation. Abercorn’s financial aid funds are reserved for families who have no other alternate sources of aid. Awards are determined independently of the admissions decision and do not affect a candidate’s eligibility for admission. Financial aid applications will only be evaluated for students who have already been accepted for admission to Abercorn International School.Financial aid is not available for students entering Nursery
As with many independent schools, we enlist the TADS to help us gather necessary information we require. It is important to note that TADS does not determine the amount of financial aid awarded, but merely assists the School in determining a family’s ability to contribute. Award decisions are made by our financial aid committee based on the parents’ financial statement submitted to TADS, as well as additional factors and special circumstances. Awards are distributed according to our financial aid budget available.
We encourage those in need of financial aid to begin the process as early as possible. Submission of requests for financial aid begins by completing the TADS financial aid application. There is also a worksheet below that you can use to gather your financial information prior to completing the online application. Applications must be submitted by January 15th. Questions may be addressed to the TADS toll-free help line at (800) 477-8237.
