Lily Angus comes to Abercorn as a native Austinite filled with a passion for early childhood education. During college, she studied elementary education as well as studying abroad in Scotland (which started her love of all things British).  She earned both a Bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education as well as a Master of Arts in Teaching degree from Trinity University in San Antonio.

Ms. Angus is a Texas Certified Teacher in the areas of Early Childhood through 4th grade, Special Education, and English as a Second Language.  She has worked with young children in various capacities for about fifteen years, in roles ranging from nanny to camp counselor to teacher to preschool Curriculum Coordinator to preschool Assistant Director!  So far, her favorite role is in the classroom interacting and learning with students.

In her free time, Ms. Angus loves reading, hiking and playing with her cocker spaniel, Rooney.
