Games and Sport offer great Life Lessons for Students
Abercorn’s athletic programme is designed to help students improve and master various skills while developing good sportsmanship, discipline, cooperation and leadership. Other key elements of our athletic programme involve mental focus, positive thinking, teamwork and game strategy.
It is very important in the early years of formal education to give pupils a sense of the well-being and fulfillment that comes from both physical exercise and participation in the arts.
Our pupils benefit from instructed swim lessons in addition to their physical education lessons.
Games are once a week, when all children from Kindergarten upwards are taught to explore the skills and spirit of team sports.
All students participate in annual sporting events, which parents are encouraged to attend.
