This year’s Thanksgiving  Festival was an outstanding success – not only due to the many large boxes of tinned and dried foodstuffs that we were able to donate to the Capitol Area Food Bank, but also due to the large cash donation that we were also able to make because of the generosity of the Abercorn International families and Staff.

The children loved the wide range of crafts and activities, and many of them had invited younger or older brothers and sisters to join the fun! Parents loved the opportunity to mix with each other and to get to know parents from other classes in the school. The donated sandwiches, cakes and cookies (all fresh and delicious!) made for great snacks and lunches as many families stayed for the whole day.

We are so very thankful that everyone in our community was able to spend some relaxing and enjoyable time together in order to support those who may be less fortunate than ourselves. How blessed we are to be given the opportunity to say thank you!
